Intersection between Childcare, Trauma, and Children

We are excited to invite all early educators in the East Central Indiana region to a special, FREE professional development session focused on the intersection of childcare and trauma.

During this evening session, we will:

• Discuss critical brain development using a practical hand model of the brain.

• Explore the basics of how trauma impacts a child's short- and long-term functioning.

• Share practical strategies and frameworks to help both educators and children feel safer as they manage difficult emotions and behaviors.
