Behavior communicates needs, and distinguishing between developmentally appropriate actions and deeper issues is crucial. This session will help teachers identify and manage challenging behaviors while minimizing problems, whether they're typical or more serious. We'll also explore evidence-based strategies for circle time and transitions, focusing on age-appropriate practices to reduce behavior issues. Attendees will learn practical techniques, practice them, and receive feedback, equipping them to enhance classroom management with ease.

This engaging session highlights strategies from occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and child-centered play therapy to promote self-regulation, language development, social interaction, and resilience.

With real-world examples and hands-on practice, educators will gain actionable tools to integrate these approaches into daily routines, creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for every child.
